Hi there, I’m Maddie! And welcome to my blog, Invincible Summer!

12905007_918464684933870_692682256_n.jpgHailing from Chicagoland, I’m currently a master’s student at Trinity College Dublin where I’m studying popular literature and writing a dissertation on social media in young adult fiction. I’m a recent graduate of Bryn Mawr College where I majored in English and theater and received a certificate in management. I’m an aspiring writer, academic, and photographer with a passion for feminism, style, and thinking a little bit more critically about what we culturally consume everyday.

When I’m not reading copious amounts of chick lit for academic purposes, I love to travel, go running, and make weird art. I also enjoy eating dessert everyday and believe that all boring meetings should end at the pub.
