Good morning, friends! It is a perfect Saturday and the beginning of a full weekend of festivities! Today is Haverfest (the less bizarre and more chill version of May Day) and things are off to a great start here at the Mawr. Windows are open, sun in shining, Betty Who is playing… there’s not too much more I could want. To kick things off, I’ve made the first batch of mimosas of the weekend! Champagne, orange juice, and my secret ingredient… Elderflower Liqueur. I’m usually not a big fan of these sweet alcohols, but this one is the perfect addition to every summer drink I can think of (mimosas, G & T’s, even white wine). It’s the mixer of your dreams. I opted for the lower shelf St. Elder, but if you’re in the market for something swanky, check out St. Germain. (Would make a beautiful gift, too!) Give it a go! I sense refreshing drinks in your future… And here are a few tunes to cook brunch to: enjoy!
